Are flip flops bad for all types of feet?
I’ve read and heard that flip flops are bad for your feet because they don’t offer much support. I want to know if they’re bad for ALL types of feet or just flat footed people. I have chronic foot problems. I need to lose weight, I walk on the sides of my feet, I have high arches, and a torn ACL. I don’t wear heels, just tennis, and crocs. I’ve started walking more and my 1inch (tapered) flip flops are THE MOST comfortable shoes to walk on the pavement in! Surprizing i know but it’s true! I don’t walk very fast and the shoes don’t wear on the sides like my tennis and crocs! In fact these flip flops are the longest lasting shoes I’ve owned. Usually i have to buy new ones every 3mos or so b/c the sides are so worn down. So, am I going to damage my ankles or knees or cause my arch to drop by wearing them constantly?
